Our weeks are currently getting busier all the time. This week began with our collective worship on the theme of Advent which started last Sunday.
We will be journeying through this special season of the Church Calendar on our way to celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus.
On Wednesday our Year 1 children went on a pilgrimage to our local Parish Church. This was the last pilgrimage for this Jubilee Year of Hope. They reflected about the significance of going on pilgrimage to a Holy place of worship and learned about the various different areas within the church building.
Today Class 3M presented an amazing Friday class assembly in which they told us about their learning on the story of the Annunciation, their reading and their writing as reporters, their Maths work on angles, turns and directions and they also sang one of the beautiful songs they learned for this occasion.
Next week is another very important week because we have our parent-teacher meetings planned for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Appointment letters are being sent home today. We ask parents to arrive a few minutes before their appointment time to make sure we stick to our schedules.
Thank you and have a good weekend.
