Dear parents and carers,
We are now at the end of the first half term. Already seven and a half weeks have passed since the beginning of this school year. We started this week with our Liturgy and worship gatherings when we continued to reflect on the Sunday Gospel message as well as the different sets of mysteries of the Rosary.
Children across the school also continued to learn about famous people who worked to put hope in people’s lives in different ways. This was our focus for Black history month this year. It was great to see so many parents visiting our Black history month exhibition yesterday and today.
For anyone who hasn’t yet visited, it will be still there for a couple of days after our mid term break. You will be able to see the wonderful stands prepared by each class. Today, Class 2J led our Friday assembly which was really informative where they shared what they have been learning across the curriculum, including role play on the bravery of Harriett Tubman relating to Black history month. Many thanks to all the parents who joined us.
We now break for our Autumn Term Half term week. We’ll be back for the start of Autumn 2 on Monday 3rd November.
Thank you and have a good half term break.
