Dear parents and carers,
This week we continued with our reflections on the Season of Lent, mainly during collective worship assemblies and RE sessions in class.
Notable events this week were the Year 2 Jubilee Year pilgrimage to St George’s Cathedral on Wednesday and today’s class assembly led by children in Class 1K. You can find out more about the Year 2 pilgrimage and work in 1K on page 3 of this newsletter. We now look forward to next week when we’ll have the Termly Learning Conferences over three afternoons. Today, all children have been given a slip with a reminder of your appointment time.
Please remember to arrive a few minutes before your appointment time to ensure meetings do not overrun. This week we have also received the Ofsted report for the Inspection that took place on the 25th and 26th February. We are very happy with the outcome which confirms that English Martyrs’ continues to be a good school. We will be sending a copy of the report to parents next week. Thank you for all your support.
