Dear parents and carers,
I hope everyone had a good Summer break and was able to spend quality time with family and friends. On behalf of our school staff and governors, welcome back to a new school year 2025-26. A
special welcome goes to all the new children who started in Nursery and Reception and others in other year groups across the school. Some have joined us from other schools while others are new to the Walworth area or even new to the country.
Over the summer holidays we had a number of contractors in our school buildings working on two big projects namely the installation of artificial grass in our main playground and running track
and the new zebra crossing between the two buildings.
Since our pupils started school on Wednesday, they have all been wonderful and made a very good effort to settle in their new classes and catching up with friends and their new teachers. They
have all been learning and reflecting on our Mission Statement and their class saints as well as our core values. Today we all gathered in church for the celebration of the first mass of this school
year and to ask God to be with us all in everything we do and to help us aim for higher goals and continue to make progress.
We’re very excited to come together for the beginning of this new school year and we look forward to a new year of learning challenges and progress for all our pupils.
Thank you and have a good weekend!
