Remembrance Day and more…

Dear parents and carers,

We started this week with our Worship assemblies on Monday when we reflected on the Sunday Gospel reading. As we are in the month of November, we also prayed for All Souls, particularly
those related to school families who have passed away recently On Tuesday 11ith November we gathered for our Remembrance day Service at 11.00 am.

This week was ANTI-BULLYING WEEK. All children had sessions and other activities on Anti-Bullying, focusing on this year’s theme ’Power for Good’. On Monday we all came to school in Odd Socks to show our support for diversity and stress the fact that it is OK to be different!

This week we also had the school photographer in school to take pictures of all children and class photos. All parents should have now received the letter with information about photo sizes and
pricing as well as for ordering photos.

Today, Class 1K led our Friday assemblies in which they told us about their learning in different areas of the curriculum including their work in Maths, Reading as well as their learning on the four
seasons in Science.

Thank you and have a good weekend.

Online Safety

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

The ThinkuKnow website is really helpful and aims to make online parenting simple and offers many practical tips and simple guidance.
