Have a great half term!

It’s hard to believe that we’re now at the end of the Autumn 1 term. Already seven and a half weeks have passed since the beginning of this school year.

We started this week with our collective worship gatherings when we reflected on the main message from Sunday’s gospel – being grateful. Throughout the week we also continued to reflect on and pray the Rosary in the mornings as children arrived and before they started their first lessons.

Class 6M took part in the INTO University workshops throughout the week. Today, both Year 6 classes took part in their end of programme Graduation where they had further activities and presentations to celebrate their achievements during this week.

We also continued with our work for Black History month. Many parents have already visited our exhibition in the undercroft. Please do come in to visit at the end of school today if you haven’t done so already.

Today Class 2E led our Friday assembly. Many thanks to the large number of parents who joined us. On a final note, as we break up today for half term week, we wish you all a restful break and look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 2nd November.

Online Safety

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

The ThinkuKnow website is really helpful and aims to make online parenting simple and offers many practical tips and simple guidance.
