Dear parents and carers,
We started the week with our Prayer and Worship assembly. This is always a very important gathering when everyone comes together to reflect on the Sunday Gospel message or other special days in the church calendar and as a time to pray and reflect.
On Wednesday, our Year 6 children took part in workshops about the re-development of Nursery Park Row which is a green space very close to the school. Children had the opportunity to talk to the architect of this development and give their views about how the space could be improved.
Today was a very special day. We started the day with our Friday Class assembly in Building 1 in which Class 6M gave an overview of the different topics they have been learning about since the beginning of term. Today we also marked the feast of St Michael, St Gabriel and St Raphael, the three special angels who are mentioned in the Bible and described as servants and messengers of God.
Today we marked Teaching Assistants day which serves as a reminder of the crucial role teaching assistants play in our schools. We recognise the tireless efforts, patience, and expertise that go into helping students thrive academically and emotionally. Thank you and have a good weekend.
