Holy Week

Dear parents and carers,

This week we continued with our reflections on the Season of Lent. A very special occasion was our whole school mass in the Parish Church when we also reflected on the Jubilee Year 2025. After the mass we then gathered in building 2 for the blessing of our new Prayer garden by Canon G Bradley who also led our celebration of the mass.

This was also a special week for parents who had the opportunity to meet with class teachers to discuss progress and targets. Our week came to an end this afternoon with a reflective presentation of the Stations of the Cross led by our Year 5 children in the Parish Church. It was a special time for the whole school community to reflect on the special events of Jesus’ Passion.

We now have a couple of weeks holidays for the Easter Break. The second week is Holy week. Please see the parish newsletter for times when you can take part in services for special days such
as Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Please note that Monday 22nd April is a Bank Holiday so all children will be returning to school on Tuesday 22nd April.

On a final note I would like to thank all children and staff for all their hard work and achievements during this busy Spring term. We wish you all a Blessed Holy Week and a restful break. Happy Easter.

Thank you and have a good Easter break.

Online Safety

The internet has changed all of our lives, particularly our children. For parents and carers this opens up a whole new world of things to be aware of. For many of us, this can all be a bit too much.

The ThinkuKnow website is really helpful and aims to make online parenting simple and offers many practical tips and simple guidance.
