Dear parents and carers,
Our week started on Monday with our Collective Worship gatherings in both buildings. Now that we are in the Easter Season we continued with our reflections on the Risen Christ. As we have now also started the month of May we have reflected on prayers to Mary such as the Hail Holy Queen and the Angelus.
Throughout the week children in Years 1 to 5 went on trips to the local area to explore and make Maths links outdoors while using a growth mindset approach. On Thursday, children in Class 2J had a fantastic day visiting Surrey Docks farm.
Today Class 5T led our Friday assembly in which they shared very interesting facts about things they are covering in class this term. They remind us about the Easter Season and the Risen Christ, their learning about the Kingdom of Benin and also shared reflections about the English Martyrs, our patron saints whose feast day is tomorrow 4th May.
Next week is a four day week as Monday 2nd May is a Bank Holiday. Among other things, children will also be starting sessions about Relationships education. Workshops for parents about our SRE programme were held on Wednesday this week.
Thank you and have a good long weekend.
