Dear parents and carers,
We have now started the Month of May. This is always a very important month for different reasons. As a Catholic school we will be having liturgies and prayers about Our Lady as for us May is the Month of Mary. It will also be a special month for our Year 6 pupils who will be sitting their End of Key Stage 2 Tests in just over a week’s time.
This has been a special week particularly for Class 2J. On Wednesday year 2 went on a trip to Pizza Express while today the same class led our Friday assembly in which they shared very interesting facts about things they are covering in class this term such as the Great fire of London, the story of Pentecost Sunday and the sessions they had on using money wisely including the importance of Saving for future needs.
Next week is a four day week as Monday is a Bank Holiday. Among other things, children will also be taking part in activities related to the feast of the English Martyrs, patron saints of our school.
