Dear parents and carers

We have now started the last full term of this school year. We hope that everyone had a good Easter break and that all children are now ready for more exciting learning during this Summer Term.

Following the training day for staff on Monday we had a four day week for children during which classes started new topics in the various areas of the curriculum. Topic overviews have been sent to parents this week.

On Thursday we had assemblies in both buildings with presentation of Bronze, Silver or Gold Certificates to children for completing their Reading Passport tasks last term. We are currently in the National Year of Reading and we hope that all our children will continue to do their best to enjoy their reading and excel when working on comprehension tasks.

Next week we’ll resume with our after school activity clubs for the Summer Term. There are a range of clubs including computing, sports, arts and crafts and others. Those who have been offered a place are asked to settle the £10 contribution for the term on ARBOR by the end of the day today.
