We started this third week of term with our Prayer and Liturgy Assembly on Monday when we focused on the parable of the Unforgiving servant and also reflected on the core value of Faith and the virtues that are related to it.
As this was National CODING WEEK, throughout the week children had extra sessions to work on this aspect of computing and learn how to input
instructions to form a simple computer programme.
On Wednesday a group of worship leaders joined me and attended the beginning of year mass at Southwark Cathedral. They represented the school in a very mature way and will be sharing their experience with the whole school next week.
On Thursday we marked the International day of peace. As part of our assemblies we shared ideas about how we can actively bring peace around us in school, at home and everywhere. Today, Class 3C led our Friday assembly in which they shared a number of things they have been working on recently.
On a final note this week, a big well done goes to our Kitchen staff. This is because we had our Kitchen inspection on Wednesday and once more we were awarded the 5 star certificate.
