In this second week of this new school year, we continued to reflect on the school values and of course started working on new topics of the Autumn Term Curriculum. On Tuesday we all gathered in the Parish Church to take part in the celebration of the Mass and pray that God be with all of us throughout this school year.
It was wonderful to see such large number of parents attending the ‘Meet the Teacher’ meetings on Wednesday and Thursday. I hope that now everyone has a better understanding of school routines and expectations as well as what your children are going to be learning about this term.
Next week we’ll be starting our after school Activity Clubs. There are 12 clubs for different groups of children throughout the week. On a final note we say a big well done to Mr Field who last Sunday completed the Great North Run and raised money for CAFOD. Thank you to all those who sponsored him raising £1330 which now even exceeded his target.
