Dear parents and carers,
Our week started with our collective worship on the theme of Advent which started last Sunday. We will be journeying through this special season of the Church Calendar on our way to celebrating Christmas and the birth of Jesus. Children have now also started practising their Nativity plays.
Today class 5E led our Friday class assembly in which they told us about what they’ve been learning in class. Their assembly including a presentation on Ancient Greece as well as reflections and singing about the season of Advent. Well done 5E!
Next week is another very important week because we have our parent-teacher meetings planned for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Appointment letters are being sent home today.
All children in Key Stage 2 will be going on trips to the Unicorn Theatre over these coming two weeks. This is our treat for our hard working children as part of our Christmas activities. I’m sure this will be a memorable event for all of them.
