Dear parents and carers,
This has been a thoroughly exciting week full of so many special events and engaging activities for our pupils. On Monday we continued to reflect on the Season of Lent. We talked about Sunday’s Gospel reading about Jesus’ temptations in the desert and shared ideas about how we ought to resist when we are tempted.
As it was our Science week, all children took part in different activities related to this year’s theme ’Change and Adapt’ and they also had special sessions in class to explore the same theme. Our Science week came to an end today with the ‘Atomic adventure’ science show.
In the morning today we also had our Friday Class assembly led by children in Class 4G. They told us about the unsung heroes in the ancient Egyptian times. They also reminded us of the sacrifice Jesus made and the importance of this in relation to Lent.
We now look forward for next week when our children will be having their end of term assessment test to show how much progress they have made this year.
Thank you and have a good weekend.
